Bo Li

Post Doctoral Fellow

Research Group: Mark Tester

Research Interests

Bo Li is interested in how plants adapt to abiotic stresses such as salinity, drought and low temperature. Previously in his Ph.D., he used a reverse genetic approach, functionally characterized two genes, encoding anion (Cl-, NO3-) transporters, contributing to salinity tolerance in Arabidopsis. In KAUST, He has been using tools of bioinformatics to discover and compare genetic features associated with salinity tolerance of plants.
