Research Interests

Strigolactones (SLs) have been recently defined as novel phytohormones. The SLs or their derivatives have been suggested to act as long distance branching factors that suppress the growth of preformed axillary shoot buds, thereby fitting the characteristics of a new group of plant hormones. I am interesting that SLs biosynthetic pathway and biological function in plants.
