Research Interests
In my undergraduate research, I was mainly focused on identifying the genes involved in the development of the sea urchin embryo. In particular, I was exploring a chemokine-like factor 4 (Cklf4) as a potential patterning cue to direct the migration of cells during development. I'm currently working on how wheat acquires resistance to rust. Since i'm new to the plant pathology field, I'm trying to explore the basics of breeding and plant resistance.
