Biography

Kit is an experienced Research Technician interested in Agricultural Biotechnology. In his previous experience he has performed numerous research activities, such as: in vitro tissue culture work to generate novel genetically engineered plant; Nicotiana transformation for molecular farming; optimization of Capsicum protoplast isolation; Xanthophyllomyces mutagenesis for carotenoid production via NTG and CRISPR-cas; optimization of growth condition for several cultures; metabolomics: carotenoid extraction, liquid chromatography (HPLC, UPLC), mass spectrometry (LCMS, GCMS) and computational analysis; molecular cloning, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, miniprep, microscopy.
