Research Interests

Hafiz is very passionate about research in plant science and is mainly interested in plants' biotic and abiotic stresses, as well as crop improvement against these stresses by employing genomics-assisted breeding and molecular tools. In addition, he is fascinated by transcriptomics, plant-microbe interactions, plant physiology and bioinformatics.
