Research Interests

Jun focuses on utilizing genomics tools to enhance local date palm resources. Currently, he is engaged in studying the genetic diversity of over 100 male date palm accessions through whole-genome sequencing (WGS). His objective is to construct a quantitative genomics map that can serve as a guide for date palm breeding.
