Rezwan focuses on neo-domestication and genome biology of dragon fruit with an aim to empower the world with food and nutritional sustainability. Rezwan is interested in the dragon fruit genome assemblies, gene annotation, and structural variations. Working on dragon fruit genome biology, Rezwan is currently targeting the existing natural variations among different dragon fruit accessions using the whole-genome sequencing (WGS) approach. These variations ultimately tag the accessions, a valuable resource for our breeding program.
