Research Interests

Yağız Alagöz is interested in biosynthesis and function of linear and cyclic apocarotenoids on plant metabolism, and phenotype, and biosynthesis of zaxinone and zaxinone-derived metabolites and their application in crop plants. He researches In-planta transport and recognition mechanisms of carotenoid-derived hormones and signaling metabolites.
